The Siren

So I have suddenly been consumed by music. By suddenly I mean for the last year and a half of my life. It came swooping down on me out of nowhere, one foggy night in San Francisco. I was just minding my own business. Thinking of all the crap i would have to do, to get a job I wouldn't like. To pay for all the things I didn't need. When a mythical siren reached into my brain and shook it all up. This siren turned out to be Emmylou Harris, and her voice had brought me to the woods of Golden Gate park. I wasn't the only one sucked in by this trance. It turns out thousands of people were drawn to the park by many folk singing sirens every year. The Hardly Strictly Blue Grass Festival was behind it all.
Well everything about that day changed my ideas about future happiness. I've decided to do what i love, MUSIC. Not to take growing up, and money so seriously.
Everything about music makes me happy. I love to listen to it, sing it, perform it, watch it, and feel it.
I am starting school online at Berklee in the next few days for music production and guitar. This blog is for me to take a break from all the studying. To remind me why Im doing the things I do. I will write about my experiences with music. What I've learned, the new concerts I've seen, the people I meet on my way. I will write about everything music and if you readers want to help me in my journey please do. Write to me and tell me of up coming events, things you know and i don't, or just why music makes you happy.
I really want to explore music
